These terms apply when you use Cupfolio-the website at cupfolio.app, the mobile apps for iOS and Android, and any related services we operate. By using Cupfolio you agree to what’s below. If you don’t agree, don’t use it.
1 · The deal
Cupfolio gives you a place to log coffee-bags, brews, ratings, notes. Free for personal use. We do our best to keep it running, but the app is provided as-is with no warranty.
2 · Your account
- You can use Cupfolio without an account. If you sign in (Google, Apple, or email magic-link), your data syncs across devices.
- You’re responsible for the email address you sign in with. Don’t share your sign-in link with anyone.
- You must be old enough to use the app per the laws of your country - and at least 13 in any case.
3 · Your content
Anything you log in Cupfolio-bags, brews, notes, photos-stays yours. You grant us a narrow licence to store and display it back to you (and only you, unless you explicitly share it). We don’t use your content to train models, sell it, or advertise against it.
4 · What you can’t do
- Reverse-engineer the app or attempt to bypass authentication.
- Scrape, mirror, or resell the service.
- Use Cupfolio to host or distribute illegal content.
- Probe, scan, or otherwise test the vulnerability of our systems without prior written permission.
5 · Our obligations
We will:
- Keep your data private as described in our Privacy policy.
- Make a portable export of your data available from Settings.
- Give you reasonable notice if we change pricing or materially change how the service works.
We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or fit for any specific purpose. Coffee tracking is enthusiastically recommended; mission-critical use is at your own risk.
6 · Pricing
Cupfolio is free during the early-access phase. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll surface that change before any charge-and your existing data, including export, remains accessible regardless of plan.
7 · Termination
You can stop using Cupfolio any time-uninstall the app, sign out, or request account deletion via hello@cupfolio.app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; we’ll notify you and give you a chance to export your data first whenever possible.
8 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cupfolio and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any direct claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months-which, today, is zero.
9 · Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged in-app before they take effect, and we’ll update the “last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
10 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that can’t be resolved through a friendly conversation will be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
